I've looked at this image several times. First of all, Seagull is a wonderful paper and from what I can see of the print scan, the printing appears very good with an excellent range of tones. I see what you were trying to do creating an abstract of geometric shapes along with the one that looks like a man with a cowboy hat. Frankly, I don't think that it comes together well at all. This is a very diffiuclt type of photography to do. Attempting this kind of imaging is a lot more interesting and challenging then copying the traditional images that we see everyday despite its difficulty. You might try a day when the sky is blue with clouds... it may change things. What about getting in closer on some of the more interesting shapes?

Keep shooting and keep "seeing".
