Very nice, almost tranquil.

WOW... this is absolutely gorgeous! The light under the tree and the exposure of slight silhouette and the tree itself is so interesting... nice.

Very interesting composition. Centering such an asymmetrical tree without balance on the leaner side is risky, but the large cloud on the left helps a lot. I appreciate the tension the imbalance creates and admire the way this works very much. Fine work!!

Thank you so much all! Your comments are really appreciated. Jovo, thanks for your comment on the composition, that feedback is really important to me because I was attracted to the light but could not improve the composition, and waited for the clouds to help strengthen it a bit. I'm thinking about visiting that tree again (we're good friends) and try a shallow DOF that could help isolate him more from the background. He's an interesting subject and his portrait could be improved

I am told, you need snakeboots! LOl! Get 'em!

More likely to be gator boots. They're everywhere down here ah ah! Mean too.

New to the south, I am just learning of things I never had to consider in NY. A lifetime thus far that took no notice of dangerous critters has to be relearned. Ugh!

I understand the feeling. I'm french and we don't have gators, cottonmouth, swarms of mosquitoes etc... over there. We should not complain, in Australia, we would have SO MUCH to learn ))
