small congo drum...pronounced "cunga"

I like the passers-by, including the one peeking out of the coat...

It looks like the congero is smiling...would be another photo....
 
Looks like you were 'Struggling' with the 'Winter Light' there in Canada as I am here in Brentwood Essex England ! Roll on Spring !
 
Your series of street photos are among the best I have seen in this forum. Keep it up please.
 
@pentaxpete It's not abundant but not too bad, overall...as long as it's during the day and not terribly cloudy. I usually push my film a stop to 800, anyway so it definitely helps.
Honestly, most 400 speed B&W film does just fine at 1600, too -- to me it's a benefit since the flat light is a good match for the increased contrast!
