OH-MY-GOD.... can't wait to spend more time this year. Had an hour between rain falls in '08 but expect more in '09.

This is really good, it captures the ruff & tumble spirit of the falls in the winter compared to the tranquil spirit of the summer.

Very nice! I like the mist a lot too. Is this from your recent trip to the shores of Lake Superior?

Thomas: yes it is. I caught a lucky break and got clear skies and -15F temps on my first morning there when I took this one. It is looking like
a profitable trip that may yield several photographs that I will be happy with.

Well, you have me fired up! Friday, (2/13) we're going to Tahquamenon Falls among other places in the eastern U.P. I've never been to the falls in the winter so I hope I can get some good photos there. I love frozen falls with mist, etc.

Sweet, Dan. The tilt of the lines across the frame pulls my eye down with the rushing water- kind of a scary feeling.
