I have seen some prints from Bodie in the Les McLean book which he must have taken some 12-15 years ago. It looks an amazing place and somehow has managed to stay as it was "frozen in time". Difficult to imagine anywhere in the U.K. staying that way without being supervised

Handsome, rmann. Bodie must have some extra magnetic pull. 'Seems that's where people go for old barn, shanty shack shots.

@pentaxuser Bodie is supervised, has been for many decades. Sadly if it wasn't it would likely be gone.
But, there is something special about the place.
And the picture here shows a peek at that "special".

Thanks for the info about supervision. Larry. I had thought it was a genuine ghost town which people visited but was otherwise empty
