thanks for posting your portraits.
i keep forgetting they make 8x10 color film
i am so used to seeing black and white 8x10s ...
i like this one better than the other one you posted -
you have the hair-light right on and it gives a crisp 3-d effect!
i am a big fan of long exposures when it comes to portraits.
i wonder if when you shoot more color ( or black and white )
8x10- or whole plates if you would try shooting at about
1/4S or 1/10S in available light ( instead of with strobes )
... i am not sure, but it might be something to think about ...

Nice portrait Diane, I don't think my monitor does it justice, I'm a regular Provia 100 user, but only 35mm and 120, I bet your 10x8 slide is wonderful in the flesh.
