This reminds me of near where I live. Close to the River.
Very nicely composed! Lovely Image! Probably my monitor, but the sky looks a tad wased out.
All the Best!
Alan.
Looks pin sharp from nearest to farthest. At 30 secs it must have been dead calm to get the reflection this good and it is very good. My fear would be that over that period the eye might believe that there was no movement in the water surface only to find that the camera saw things differently.
That kind of excitement revealed only after dev and maybe printing is denied the other crowd or maybe not given the size of the viewing screen.
Thanks for your comments. These five long exposure shots are currently just 5x7 prints with basic burning in where required. I plan to do some 'proper' prints soon.
It was a bright but cloudy day but by the time I got to this location, the light was disappearing fast. Since I had my tripod with me (a rare occasion) I decided to make the most of it and go for the longest exposures I could - some earlier shots had a red filter just to lose three stops of light.
The water was very calm with just a few ripples from the incoming tide but the long exposure has smoothed these out.
