This is a print I must have made in the late nineties. I lived in Westchester County, NY then, and this place was just five miles from my apartment. I had given over the bathroom sink entirely to my enlarger using the sink in the kitchen instead for 'me'. It's also on RC paper that I haven't used since then either. Fun to revisit old stuff.
Great colours that suit the scene absolutely but I have to say that I have never seen Ilford MGIV RC developed in what I assume to be Ilford developer, to deliver these tones. Is this a facet of the scanner or was there a toner involved? If so what was it?Thanks
Thank you, all, for your comments. The actual print is not toned, but I've been toning lightly in thiocarbamide and selenium for the past several years, and I've emulated that 'look'. When I revisit the negative to make a larger, contemporary print on FB, it will be toned that way, and look like this.
