Taken on a cold breezy overcast day this past March. It was nevertheless thrilling to be awash in a sea of light in this stand of beech trees.

Wow! In my face! That is a really neat sensation. I opened up the thumbnail and literally felt like I was running through those trees, twigs and leafs smacking me in the face. Fantastic reaction and as usual the most beautiful tones and print quality.

This is a real departure from your normal work, as if you're pushing the boundaries a bit. VERY interesting shot.

It's like what your eye sees. if you look into the woods everyting in front is blured. I like how it works here

Thank you all for your comments and for taking the time to look.

Sharon, I hope to keep exploring ways to be expressive with my photography beyond my comfort zone. Many of the photographs I find most appealing have an immersive quality that invites me to step into the image to explore and interpret on my own. The illusion of being within the image can be quite striking. I hope I can achieve that in my own work someday.

All the best,
Daniel
