Hi Jim,
I like this. I'm sure you had a great time there. Looking forward to see more. Great pictures but it looks like you need a new scanner .

Tri, thanks. Well the scanner is an Epson 4870. I just let it do the work. Need to learn about it some time I guess. Clean it,etc. Had a great time and I've got some more 8x10's drying. Still have three 8x20's to print. Will post more tomorrow.

Hey Jim, I like the abstract quality, the texture and tonal range of this image ... fine job.... I love Yosemite ... I also use the E. 4870 scanner ... I personally think it performs well for neg scans as long as they are not too dense ...

Thanks everyone. Miles, These are 8x10 negs and I scan the prints. I don't think I can scan 8x10's. Only 4x5's are the biggest unless I'm missing something.

The light was very good for this. I had to estimate where the sun was going to be 20 minutes after I opened the shutter so it would be evenly lit.
