Amazing. I can't decide which I like better. It probably doesn't make sense to even want to compare.

The two have such distinct emotive impacts, comparing them objectively is an exercise in futility.

The main difference is, in my opinion, that the color version shifts the attention from the Boy towards the "Bird".

I'd say they're more balanced here - you ping-pong back and forth between them, but I agree in the b/w version, the attention is very squarely (pardon the pun) on the boy.
