as you may know i am fully addicted to wet plate....i just can not stop shooting! today is dec 19, only 2 days till the shortest day of the year. at 3:51pm i made this exposure here in NY. it was almost dark. the 1st exposure of 15 seconds was blank. this one was 2.75-3.5 min.
Eddie, These are great! You catch on real fast. I can see your pours getting better by the day. Snow is not the easiest thing to shoot with wet plate. Thanks for sharing. Robert
It's dark here, now, but we got hit in a major way finally last night. Snow is piled up on my deck to over a foot past the bottom of the window on the sliding door.
Nice grill, too, by the way. I was looking at a similar one recently.
Wet plate photography is so interesting to me because of the skill that goes into making each image. You're getting very skilled I think.
yes the grill works very well all year round! what! you guys put yours away? yes, there is a tarp...somewhere under the snow! i was using it the night before it snowed! i used it after the photo as well.
i just got up. i will go shoot some more this mornig with all the snow before it gets overly bright.
