Big Laurel at twilight

Negative scan of a frame shot with a Rolleiflex 3.5E and a 0.7x Rollei Mutar wide angle attachment. I finally found my Mutar and shot a roll through it to see how it performs with landscapes. Note the rock in the bottom corner is well in front of the focal plane, yet still is rendered with detail.

Scott, Big Laurel is in the Pisgah Forest, less than ten miles from my home. There is a four-mile path that follows Big Laurel through the forest to where it joins the French Broad. There used to be a logging town along the way, Runion, that was abandoned nearly a century ago, with only a few concrete foundations left where it stood. It's one of my favorite places to go for a stroll when I need to get outside and hit reset.

Excellent image, I like the blur on the stream rapids, that is a beautiful stream - as an ex trout fisherman it reminds me of places I used to fish in the Adirondack's in NYS.
I frequently travel I-40 thought the Pisgah Forest, and the French Broad and the smaller streams look gorgeous, however I am always on my way to Raleigh and don't have time to stop - next time I will have to get off the interstate and explore the local area.
