an early morning walk along a side trail of the bruce trail near belfountain, ontario. Toned in iron, with a bit of selenium first to keep the blue out of the dark shadows
Mike, You've achieved quite an unusual shade of blue here. Do you have a particular recipe for the toner, or is it that particular paper? Of course, judging colour on my monitor is a bit dodgy anyway ...
the scanner in the copier here at work runs too cold in its translation - the tone is not that cool in the print. It was just a generic iron toner - I think I transcribed it from a library book into bound photo day journal - I will try to dig it up if I remember once home. If used stock, as the formula suggest, it is way too blue - think dark cyanotype blue. From memory this was diluted about 1:5. Paper was old Ilford MG DW fibre, from the 90's, and like I mentioned, swished for a bit in KRST 1:9 to keep the shadows from going too blue.
