Beer Vendor; Yankee Stadium

This was a plum job for us growing up a couple of miles north of The Stadium. See a game, get a tan, make some cash money.
The upper tier is trecherously steep but the fans tend to be alot more 'animated' and better tippers than the suits in the corporate boxes with the comped tix.
Beer was the hardest but best paying and most desirable of the vending spots. Lucky for this guy the bottles are plastic now..those old glass bar bottles weighed a TON.

I love these Vic, and they are clearly steeped in the history of the place... it will be gone, soon... no? Of course... living deep in Red Sox nation, as I do, it's hard to say anything complimentary about anything Yankees without getting into some serious trouble... but I'll take the risk: these are excellent, and historically significant images.

Well done.

I think it's a shame. They've got some (base)balls tearing down the House that Ruth Built. This series looks to be an excellent way to remember what the place means to you, and so many others. Just think what Europe would look like if they tore down their cathedrals when they got old. That's what ball parks are, too. They're OUR American cathedrals.

great image vic, i think this is the strongest of the three here. really has a new york feel to it. love those holgas!

This is very interesting series. You uncovered this drama of the match ! I like mainly this one, very expressive, perfect timing ... but as a series it is also very strong.

r.

I love this one. Somehow I feel this guy wouldn't be out of place in a Roman arena.

This guy really is pretty awesome.
Thanks for all of the great feedback.
