Beer Butt Chicken

Yes, funny. Kids don't look happy. Maybe they wanted to be eating that chicken instead of posing. My kids were that way.

Something like that!! Lot's of pressure when you ask two boys to hold still for a 1/4 of a second... my older son has rather a pained expression!! That chicken was delicious, though, perhaps the five or so minutes while we opened up the bbq during the picture making, made for the perfect cooking method!!

I threatened for years to make beer can chicken. Every time I suggested making it my girlfriend would make one of those girl-faces. Finally I did it anyway. She loved it. Who'dathunk 1/2 can of PBR could work such wonders?

They are delicious when cooked this way!!
