Beech on a bank

Went awandering in the woods with camera and Kathy Harcom who lives nearby on Thursday. She is bound to have something stunning, so thought I would bung this up first before the plaudits inevitably (and rightly so) go her way!

Am evaluating the Schneider 80mmXL prior to buying. This is the first sheet of film and it just sparkles compared to the other sheets I developed at the same time from other lenses. So I suppose I shall have to get the plastic out for the acquisition......

Yes there is detail in the dark parts of the boughs and on the highlights too. Thankyou Pyrocat HD!

Is there a tilt in the bellows or is the whole camera tilted? Everything seems to lack any sense of straight verticals. Absolutedly great tonal range and subject is nice. The apparant tilt is my only negative in a great photo.

The camera was set up using the spirit level - it is the way of the Forest! I do know what you mean when I scanned it it lacked these reference points which we humans crave, but is a true representation of this scene.
