This guy (or girl) spent a day and a night resting in my pond, during the annual beaver migration.

Being primarily nocturnal mammals, it is extremely difficult to photograph this annual east to west migration. Nice work!

I like this too. That sheen on the water surface is nice, as is the repetitive shape of the circles. Very rhythmic that way. Nice job!

Maybe migration is too strong a word. At about age two they move out of the family pond and go looking to start their own. This may mean just moving upstream or finding a new creek to dam.
