Good eye with the triangle composition. Contrast is too low, and some burning in is required. Try to burn in the church on grade 5, with a simple triangle card - start with that. Then adjust the exposure on a lower grade eg 3 on the statues.

Thanks for the suggestions Marc. I'll try them and find out how good (or bad) I am at burning and dodging.
