Beacon Stream 1

In the quaint and irresistible town of Beacon, there is a stream that tumbles over these falls and plunges downstream past the relics and remnants of bygone factories and other industrial structures. I have come to this particular spot repeatedly with my 4x5, 6x7 and now the 6x6 format cameras. I'm really enjoying everything about the square format of the C220 that I've had longer than any other camera I use. I've neglected it for much too long.

A very lovely photograph and interesting composition. I like how the scene appears partitioned, yet harmoniously constructed. Must be a beautiful print.

All the best,
Daniel

Jovo, this is one of the most unique views I've seen...rich tonal palette and composition are great...recently, I too have come to realize the potential of the 'square'... again great image..

That's fantastic John. Love the composition and framing.

What a fine composition. I have to say that the mix of new and old, nature and man, is pretty overwhelming. Square lines created by man, and nature's own beautiful lines. That's a good thing in my opinion.
You should put that Mamiya to use. I love the square format too.

John,
first I love this print. 2nd I have fallen in love with my 120 camera too. like yours my hassey has no extras and keeps it simple.
Now the question, On some of my prints many criticized the framing I have and I could see how it was distractfull. But the way you present your prints keeps it simple and clean. how did you do that.

thanks for your time
