Stunning, Thomas. I always try to get this shot, but it's the mastery of the finer details with film, processing, printing, etc. that makes something like this possible.
Thanks, Colin! I'm not sure that I'm doing anything special. APX 400, shot at EI 200, developed in Rodinal 1+25 gave me a very nice negative that practically printed itself. Just a short five or six step burn/dodge cycle, and some low contrast / high contrast split grade effort.
