Yes - very nice! Surreal. A little bit Kenna-ish (compliment - I don't mean derivative). I find the strong contrast of the sky just a BIT distracting though... what do you think of that?

Another Beautiful Image, John! I dont find the contrast to be a problem at all, on the contrary, I find it really makes the image.

Thanx for sharing.

Gary

John, wonderful composition. Have you considered a slight crop off of the top? Very nice image. - Sean

P.S. Be glad that your not in Marquette the weather is incredible. It's like winter made a quick u-turn.

Jupp, nice....very nice, especially the contrasts. But the tree is to centered in my opinion.

I was thinking about this image since I made my initial comment- it's interesting that way - it made me realize WHY wide-angles are useful sometimes. It's not because of the 'cool, wide-angle perspective' - but rather, it's because they're incredibly useful for spatial organization and sending elements that would otherwise be distracting to the distant pictorial space. Great for sorting subject from object.

Great sky and dramatic printing! Please keep them coming.

All the best,
Daniel
