Be Bear Aware

Other things you'll encounter while traveling Alaska's rivers and streams, like this bear scat on a gravel bar while hiking Johnson Pass. Not ten minutes later I met a black bear coming around the corner. Bearly (pardon the pun), got a look at him though as he quickly ran off.

I'd run too if I saw someone carrying that hardware :smile: No bears here...just snakes and spiders...and the only escape from them is the ocean...and then the sharks and jellyfish get you!

Don't do snakes Tony, none here in Alaska unless they're pets...too cold. But we do have things that will eat you .
