We had the pleasure to visit Rom and Basilica de St Pedro Roma in Mai. Leica, the Noctilux and the film worked very well, but if there is an other visit Ill probably try Delta 3200 at EI 800?
A lot of burning end dodging, but I m satisfied with the result, thou I find the print better than the scan.
Cool shot, love that light! I really like this image and believe you could make another very nice version if you crop the crowd out. Just my thing..I hate crowds.
This is neat! I think even if you cropped by the purse the lady on the far right is carrying it appears more like a neutral crowd than if all the shorts and sneakers are included... The light is fantastic, and I think you could capitalize on it!
If you bring a tripod, set the camera to a small aperture and get ghostly images of people in a long exposure instead. Or consider pinhole maybe along with that Delta 3200 you're thinking about, as the softness would blur some of the attire to become more neutral too.
I think it's a shot with great potential.

In architecture school we always thought of the crowd or the person somewhere in your shot as being "scale."
Nice shot for detail. You've captured the light well.
Digression: So, they're letting people in wearing T-shirts and shorts now? When I visited in 1999 they had guards at the front who would turn away people in shorts or in too short skirts, and anyone who didn't have their upper arms covered. Short sleeves were okay if the sleeves came down almost to your elbow, and if the shirt wasn't too informal.
