While Cityscape is a fine image this seems to me to be the more interesting of the two that you posted. Not only is the compopsition very well constructed but the subject, showing the impact of the new transport infrastructure on the pre urban landsacape, is a very compelling one, at least to this viewer. I feel that its so good an image its gone into my favourites folder where I keep images for inspiration.
