A recent 8x10 contact print of a barn, taken at a local historic farmstead on WPPD 2018. This was matted and framed to appear in an art club summer exhibition at a local music school. No jurying or awards are involved, so it seemed a good chance to expose the art to a new audience!
@awty Thanks! Today the "flag" had me mystified, so I stopped by enroute to the post office.
It's a wooden birdhouse on a pipe next to the fencepost. (And actually, now that I know what it is -- I can see it!!!)
The barn is from 1761, considered a great example of a Pennsylvania "bottom" barn (as opposed to "bank" barn).
@Jim Jones Thanks! With a six inch "focal length" at 8x10, this camera must be one of the widest angles I shoot with and I sometimes forget what keystoning I can provoke! It's a very solid oak box, so I fear the front won't be rising unless I do some serious rework. (Now on my B&J 4x5 with pinhole lensboard .... )
