Very, very nice. LOve the ice and how the shorline leads my eye right through the entire image. I love snow and ice in photographs and you've nailed it. Hope the Hassy is feeling more comfortable for you as time goes on. Great work!!!

Hmmmm. I would have expected some naked logs lying about.

Nice, Jeanette. I might crop that little bit of white sky at the top, though.

I like the composition Jeanette. Is there more texture in the snow in the actual print? Seems just ever so slightly too high in this scan. I'd like to see hints of texture in the foreground snow, rather than pure white.

I hope you didn't get your feet wet/frozen when you took this shot!

Great shot - I'd crop out the sky area as I feel this improves the image by retaining the viewer within the frame.

Jeanette, very nice composition! Have you considered a selenium (sp) toner for this print? It would really enrich the dark shadows.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! Yep...thousands of miles I roamed, just to come back home... I'll give the selenium toner a shot...I've been procrastinating on my goal to use the stuff this year. I will crop the top a wee bit & bring up the white texture on the final print. Thanks again!
