Or maybe even earlier? Here is a photo by Eugene Atget, and he died in 1927. I have to ask @ajmiller, Did you have this one in mind when you took yours?

Thanks everyone. Paris has its own aesthetic, so not hard to channel photographers who have gone before.

So true. Sometimes I wonder if all possible photos have not already been taken. I just checked my own photos from a brief trip to Paris in 2017, and sure enough, I have one of some barges on the Seine on a misty morning with a historical building on the far bank. I'll not embarrass myself by posting it here in the same company with your photo, which is much better than mine.

To be clear, I meant no disrespect by throwing Atget into the discussion, quite the opposite. Whether intended as an homage to Atget, or a happy coincidence, yours is a fine photo, either way.
