I thought this sounded a strange sign for an Edinburgh diner so wondered at first if it might be Musselburgh instead☹️ Until now I never realised that "banger" extended much farther than the sound of Bow bells😄

I have printed on 8x10 paper a load of 6x6 negatives taken in Musselburgh in 1956 by a semi professional photographer now long dead. The fishing and mining industries feature heavily.
