Bandipur children, Nepal (2012)

One of the many highlights of Nepal was the mountain village of Bandipur - a place you could just stroll around and immerse yourself in. No tourist traps, no touts or hawkers, no loud noxious tourist...just perfect

No lambasting, I'm a big proponent of the free flow of ideas...have to admit I'd not thought of doing that. This image is on slide film, so already tricky to enlarge traditionally and I really love the colour aspect of this image also -- as big a fan of monochrome as I am, the colour adds a lot to this image, methinks. Thanks for the thoughts, though!

Probably also nice in B&W, but can really understand your preference for these nice colours in this shot! /Bertil

I'm also a fan of B&W, but when I think of Tibet, I think colour. I love the palette here and the girl with the coloured rope is just perfect.
