This took a lot of effort to print since there was non-descript partial cloud cover which I had to remove in the darkroom, plus I introduced the moon from another negative to try to add interest. It would have been easier to reshoot except that the pond is frozen over now and I needed more images for a rapidly approaching show I'm in! I did the best I could, completely dodging the sky and then fogging it down evenly and I'm hoping the resulting flaws aren't too readily apparent to the uneducated eye! Also had to burn down parts of the foreground stump substantially. All the manipulations were done with Lynn Radeka's masking system. The final print is toned in selenium and looks quite a bit cooler and richer.
