Thanks everyone.... Bill the gods were kind. This was quite a contrasty scene and nailing the exposure was a little challenging... Especially with quite old and deep amber collodion and an F2 lens! I was thinking that a fresher collodion might have yielded a slightly flatter image, but am happy the way this turned out overall. Then again a clear glass neg might have been the way to go.
