That was some odd ball thing in the light coming through a very dirty window in the drawing studio at Brooklyn College. I didn't see it when I took the picture and only noticed it in the print. At that point I looked at the other negatives I made of the same scene and it was in all of them. It's an interesting affect.
 
Nice light and good profile portrait of a lovely woman.
