ditto the above! i've looked at all three and prefer this one, but it's a tough choice, for sure! can i ask a question? i've only printed once, but hope to be able to print some time in the near future. my question is: how did you control for grain/introduce/reduce so much grain in the different printed version? this version seems almost grainless, but the other two versions have pronounced grain, and find myself saying, "wow! i didn't know you could do that with the same frame!". thanks for sharing!
Thank you all for the kind comments. oolala, the grain in the other two prints is a result of using lith developer on the print. The negative is the same on all three, and the paper is the same on two of the three. Thomas, it's funny that you read her expression as curious. She's actually late-afternoon-tired-and-hungry, and annoyed that her daddy and mommy are making her share her new barbie jeep with all the neighborhood kids in the front yard. There were photos of her dad (and uncle) from around that age with very similar expressions. Unfortunately most of them were lost in a fire.
