Avebury Stones #4

VanDyke 9x13 print toned with palladium. This image is from a series shot on Scala 135mm of the standing stones in Avebury, England. Print was contacted from an enlarged negative on lith film. This one has become a favourite. VDB is all about getting the negative right and this one worked out well. I also like its humble nature.

There's something iconic or ironic about an Avebury stone printed on Stonehenge! Sly

I can't pretend I know much about your process (except the Scala!) but it certainly enhances the mystery of this amzing place.

Thanks
