Ava, Mendocino

Sometimes when taking photographs, you get more than you ask for. This is one of those. Ava, after her first night with 'Sheepie,' a stuffed animal that is with her to this day (It predates "pillowpets" but it's that kind of thing). We'd taken off quickly for the road trip, and left Ava's favorite pillow at home. Shopkeeper who sold us this was annoyed (in general), I guess because we came to the store 15 minutes before closing. But the B&B we stayed at was charming and worth recommending.
