Out in my Town with my 1969 Rolleiflex 3.5 F Planar -- here I put the brighter Yellow leaf on the 'Intersection of Thirds' and used a wide aperture to put background out of focus more. ( all what I learnt from over 60 years in Camera Clubs ! )
These photos would make great wall murals - good color, nice patterns. Like them.
2002? Gosh, that's practically new film! I'm always amazed at how well old film works if it hasn't been badly abused. I keep mine in the freezer, no matter what the nay-sayers say, as I think it helps. And, I don't think the "Gamma Ray Threat" is as bad as some say. IMHO. I have a huge stash of 110 film from the 90's in the freezer. Every so often I get a bug to use one of my old 110 cameras and always get good colors. My Minolta Zoom 110 is one of my favorites.
I would have liked to have been relieved of the off-focus parts, which, unfortunately, are just as important as is the in-focus center. It is a normal picture, but, as there is no center of interest in such a homogeneous scene, there should be no need to prioritize sections of the image by use of focus. Maybe a tripod using f22 and 1/8th second would have been a more appropriate use of the EV 12 exposure (which is 'spot on').
I agree with bsdunek about the gamma rays.
