Autumn sun - Mark Ash Wood

Favourite part of the New Forest. Same location as where I have done well before, but this time wanted to try with early afternoon light on the scene.

This required longer lens in order to restrict areas of sky burning out.

This certainly does look like the old Velvia, its green! What about an 81a or b to warm the light and shadows just a bit? Are you doing your own processing with the e6 push (asa 80?), or does your lab do this with their service?

Nice shot and light. Good to see some of the saturated color again, as I always did enjoy the look of this film in a setting like this. tim

Come to think of it Tim I did have an 81B on the shot. The sky was blue and the tranny is just perhaps a little warmer, with nice warmth in highlights. Have misplaced my notebook with exposure info, hence sketchy details.

I am doing my own processing in the Jobo. Rate film at ISO40 usually but the A sheet was a little dark, so gave this a 1/2 stop nudge. As a result, I lost out by burning out a few patches of highlights. The image is improved overall as the RH tree trunk is too dark and depressing on the 'Normal' sheet.
