Aurora Borealis - Land and Sky

Dead on my feet after a long 8 hour workday, but the forecast called for aurora! I knew of a spot, never been there but looked good in theory/online -- so, a 2-hour drive later I arrived at 2am to bear witness (gloriously alone!) to a wonderful show. Amazing.

My first impression was that it was hand-colored. Extraordinary! Well worth the drive.
