Atrium

Atrium

The atrium of the Rectory in Dubrovnik. This picture was taken in the summer of 1985.

This summer I was travelling in the Balkans; Yugoslavia, Hungary and Greece with some friends. A few years later there were no Yugoslavia anymore, and the rectory of Dubrovnik were heavily damaged by artillery.

To me, this is an outstanding photograph. I love the light, the tone and contrast. It is very well printed and a glorious reminder of what once was. I pray this scene was not damaged or destroyed by the foolish acts of man.

It's a great picture.
But, if you make the gray roof more dark. it wil be perfect.

Thank you all for your kind words.
Daan72: I will try your suggestion my next printing session.
