At war with the third dimension

I can't seem to find subjects that do not resolve into flat space.

I see you have used a 105mm lens on 35mm, tends to flatten perspective. Try a 24mm or wider and go in close.

That is because film is a 2 dimensional medium. Only the perception of three dimensionality exists. In this case the shadowed walk ways add it. But I agree that the rest seems to be flattened right on top of each other.
