While out pinholing on Sunday, I finished off a started roll in the Perkeo II. This once dilapidated "brownfield" area had been the Phoenix Iron Company, dating back to the late 1700s and making castings (such as this) and rolled iron forms. The former foundry, a spectacular masonry building, has been adaptively reused as the Schuylkill River Heritage Center; quite awesome. The truss bridge in the background was another Phoenix Iron product.
