A mine is a dark univiting place even in sunshine and especially one associated with asbestos but you've captured this well. The sky looks darker on the right than left. I assumed it was due to perhaps burning in the print on the right more than left but then I saw that it was scanned from the negative.
I know nothing about negative scanning. Does scanning cause this?
