I am very happy to see your work here again. You always amaze my senses. It is indeed gorgeous, and personally I'm not sure about rotating it. Just my opinion.

I don't think that it's realy that important whether it's vertical or horizontal , the subject metter here is so strong that it works either way , this is a very beatiful plant and you have framed it perfectly , the texture and grey scale is very nice , if you trying to go more abstract , I think you would have accomplished it by blending it more into the back ground by chosing a gray not black , I also would have tryied to get depth more deep , but it is mee and I would have done this with at least an 8x10, you did ask for sujestions on how to frame it
Printing this subject low key is certainly a thought provoking approach, congratulations for that. As for the question of orientation I think it will work either way, however two points bother me, the near edge is soft, and the tip of the flower is cropped, at least it is as presented here. Both these points distract from an otherwise excellent picture.
Thank you all for your feedback and suggestions, its great to be back and finally taking some more flower portraits, its been a while but hope to be taking some more over the next few months. I intend to print this in platinum and cyanotype over the next few days and will maybe post them on the hybrid if they work out.
