I like this photograph for several reasons. First the composition is quite nice. Second there are four distinct textural and tonal regions that are well separated and they add interest to the image.
Additionally we have different forms. By virtue of the shape and the compostion, the round object seems to hold a prioritized position followed by the mid background textile or paper.
Last but certainly not least this photograph poses questions. The question for me initially is "what is this?" followed by "what is this about"? These questions engage me and they keep me engaged until I come to some resolution of understanding.

This was just an object that was found around the studio and Christine had laid a magazine which had a photograph of a few icebergs over the top of it, the magazine had been there for three weeks and it seemed to morph around the circular sculpture, it looked almost three dimensional. I am sure Richard Prince would be proud
