This a Platinum/Palladium print I made during the Platinum/Carbon workshop. I used the method I learned from Per Volquartz and it turned out very nice and I am pleased with it. That day at Arches was very hot and it was getting later in the day when I saw this roadside scene on the way out. I stopped and set up the Kodak 5x7 with JandC 400 loaded and took this image. The first time I saw the Platinum process I knew it was going to be something I wanted to be involved in. With Per as the teacher I quickly learned the process and hope to do a lot more work in 5x7 and 8x10. The image was hand waxed by me and it was really incredible to see the image pop from the paper.
