Aside from 1 test exposure this is the first 8x10 photo I took, at least the first actually composed image - and first portrait ever too, very interesting stuff!

I really am liking the format - thinking I might try 11x14 also, at least 10 sheets of film are on the way - just need to build the back, GG and bellows ;)

this image printed in palladium - two 800w open face Lowell Totas left and right of the camera approximating a ring light...
