APX400 & Rodinal revisited

I posted a photo some months ago using this combination and it was a fairly dire result. This cropped up again in the thread in the Rangefinder section of the forum on APX400, so I thought it was time to try the combo again. The detail in this shot is absolutely remarkable compared with my other shot, yet it is the same batch of film and the same bottle of Rodinal. Ah, well ............

Wow. That's a relief to see. For a 35mm camera this looks great for Rodinal. Serves you right for using it fresh! Like the reverse of sell by and use by. 2000 Rodinal: To retailer: Sell by when you like. To customer: Use NOT before 2050! Buy it for your grandchildren, hide it for 50 years and leave it in your will.

I can see a Stanley Baxter sketch out of this.
