This is an image taken a few minutes after an image posted earlier up on the Sandia Crest near Albuquerque.
This negative is hard to print as I should have placed the foreground mountain a littler higher, perhaps on zone IV. The sky was changing very quickly as the storm approached and I had to make decisions very fast.
I've had to us a little print bleaching on the foreground to bring up some of the highlights in the rocks.
This is a very powerful image. It almost makes me want to duck under my desk, and I can almost hear the rain down in the valley. Whatever difficulty you have in printing it is worth it!
