Approaching Storm

I visit this tree occasionally and have wasted a ton of film on it. I sits at the top of Sandia Crest near Alb. NM and overlooks the city some 5000 feet below. Last month I happened to be there when this storm came up and created some nice skies. This is one of the images I took that afternoon just prior to getting drenched.

I'd like to add that I took this negative over to per volquartz's darkroom where Jim Fitzgerald and I spent the day in one of Per's workshops.

Per printed this negative what Jim and I watched. He created an image (not this one I show here) that is so much more than what I can show with this scan. I was simply amazed.

If you ever get the chance to spend the day with Per, do so.

Steve, I agree. You had a beautiful image for Per to work with. It was a great experience watching Per work in his darkroom. He made this image come alive right before our eyes. His simple approach to printing was very refreshing. I must say you gave him a super image to work with. This is a beautiful print to see in person.
